Security Explorer 7.2 is now available!

This is a major release for Security Explorer as it introduces the new user based licensing model.  
This new licensing model allows for full management of all of the technologies available in Security Explorer on the managed domain(s).  
Users can now fully manage security on all their file servers and workstations, services and tasks, 
local groups and users, SharePoint servers, SQL Servers, and Exchange from one console!

Security Explorer 7.2 also offers a few enhancements to the SharePoint management functionalities that significantly improve the usability
and configuration as well as a new feature to scan the domain to find all SharePoint servers.

New Feature Highlights:

New user based license model that allows for full management of all the technologies available in SXP

New feature that scans the network to find all instances of SharePoint and imports the servers into SXP

New SharePoint web service deployment wizard that significantly simplifies the deployment and ongoing management of the SharePoint web service

Improved SharePoint browsing allows administrators to group all site collections together for each farm

Enterprise Security Reporter 3.7!  This new release offers a number of significant enhancements to the product;

PCI Compliance Report Pack – This new pack maps 60 reports to their corresponding compliance requirements. Customers are helped to secure payment account data and adhere with PCI Compliance standard.

SharePoint and SQL Server Permission Reports Include Group Membership Sub-Reports – All SharePoint and SQL Server permission reports now provide the option to include group membership sub-reports. The sub-report will expand the membership of all AD and local server groups nested within.

New Server Security and Domain User Reports – Three new reports are specific to file server and SharePoint security and domain user information.

New Platform Support and Performance Enhancements – Enterprise Security Reporter 3.7 adds full support for discovering and installing on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. Discovery and reporting databases now supported on SQL Server 2008. Enhancements to the discovery database have significantly increased query performance for many reports.

Group Membership Sub-Report Customization – Now customizable to display additional account attributes and exclude specific group members from the report (ex. Domain Users group). Sub-report format can be customized through ESR’s intuitive report designer.

File System Auditor 2.5!  This exciting new release offers a number of significant enhancements to the product.

File Share Auditing – Audit all file share events, including share creations, deletions, and security modifications.
Audit Workstation Name and IP Address – Collected audit events now include workstation name and IP address of the machine initiating the event.
Agent Deployment Wizard – Agents are now deployed to multiple servers simultaneously. There’s no need for individual deployment and configuration of auditing agents
Automatic Purging of Old Audit Data – New! Allows for automatic purging of age-specified audit records. Create an automated maintenance plan, including archiving old data and removal from the database.
New Platform Support – Auditing for Windows Server 2008 R2 systems and console support on Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 OS. The auditing database is now supported on SQL Server 2008.
