Diskeeper 2008

Hoe snel uw pc en/of server ook is, vroeg of laat raken de bestanden op uw harde schijf gefragmenteerd en is het zaak te defragmenteren. De standaard Windows-tool is nogal traag en eenvoudig van opgezet, het is niet meer dan een uitgeklede versie van Diskeeper.

Diskeeper 2008  beschikt over een overzichtelijke interface, waarin we tot in de detail kunnen zien hoe we onze schijven willen defragmenteren. Handig is de 'Set It and Forget It'-optie waardoor het mogelijk is de applicatie op de achtergrond te laten draaien.

Diskeeper 2008 is een verbeterde versie van Diskeeper 2007 en is razendsnel (veel sneller dan zijn voorgangers); niet alleen worden onze harde schijven extreem rap geanalyseerd, het defragmenteren is een kwestie van enkele tientallen minuten. Diskeeper houdt bovendien de Master File Table (MTF) in de gaten. MTF is in feite de inhoudsopgave van uw harde schijf, en fragmentatie van dit onderdeel kan zorgen voor crashes van het besturingssysteem.

Handig is ook de zogenoemde 'I/O Smart'-technologie,InvisiTasking en IFAAST technology die ervoor zorgen dat het defragmenteren wordt gepauzeerd als een ander programma toegang tot de schijf vraagt. Daardoor wordt uw systeem niet vertraagd als Diskeeper op de achtergrond aan het werk is.

Notebook-bezitters zullen blij zijn met de 'Power Saving Mode', waarbij er niet wordt gedefragmenteerd als de notebook op de accu draait.
